Let's say that i bought a property for $1, six months later and due to an Oil and Gas boom i was able to lease it for $10 a year 2 years lease . the lessee has improved the property $50 and if they were to move it will cost them over $100 and i will be able to use the property for my own businesses generating about $36 a year. the lease is due to be renewed in 1 month the lessee is wanting to renew the lease or buy the property. I could ask for a $25 a year lease for up to 3 or 5 years or sell it for $175 or sell it? this market may last for 10 years or it could end this Sunday The property is Commercial, add what ever zeros to the numbers my point was to simplify the relation between the cost and gain. again this market where this property at can last for 10 years or end tomorrow. I live in a rural area and there are lots of abandon houses, towns, and business that are just rotting. I would like to know if I can just walk in there and transform it and use it for myself? Purchased a property a few years back and some items were not disclosed ie. asbestos, flooding in basement during the rainy season and pump in place as a solution, etc. . When the property was bought it was right after summer, so the flooding was not evident. Property purchased on registered power of attorney.?
recently honourable court has ordered that property purchased on power of attorney is not valid. i purchased one property in the year 2008 on registered power of attorney. now is that be considered as valid or i have to do something else.
